Jen Johnson was eliminated last week on Big Brother. The model and part-time nanny – she works for Vanna White – came across as annoying and self-centered. She had originally promised to remain on slop for a full thirty days. After being backdoored by Daniele and verbally assaulted for, like the millionth time, by Dick, Dani’s daddy, she decided to eat.
The other houseguests were upset that she broke her promise. However, no one was upset that Dick flicked his cigarette ashes at her, burning her fingers. Dick made Jen a target of his verbal abuse from like Day One. In the “real world”, we think Jen could sue him for harassment. He was horrible to her and many of the other houseguests. Even if it is his strategy, it sucks.
Jen got a penalty vote against her for eating. This made the vote 6-0 to eliminate her on Thursday. All Big Brother gave her was the opportunity to dump Dick in some cold water during the next HOH competition. That must’ve been nice, but not enough.
CBS shouldn’t condone Dick’s behavior and mistreatment. Dick should receive more than a penalty for his verbal abuse of Kail, Jen, Jameka and several others. The live feeds, if you’ve been watching, have been nothing short of horrific.
We wouldn’t live with a jerk like Dick, and CBS puts him up to be some sort of ‘hero’ because he desperately wants to reconnect with his daughter. Well, as Dani said last night, there are reasons the two of them drifted apart. With a dad like Dick, we can only imagine what those are.
Hopefully, Dick gets some therapy from CBS, maybe via Dr. Phil. Jen’s better off on the outside. We kind of hope she makes good on her threat and skips the sequester house. We wouldn’t blame her if she did.
