Donald Trump is a grandfather. His daughter-in-law Vanessa, the wife of Donald Trump Jr., his eldest child, gave birth on Saturday May 12, 2007 in New York City. The 6 lb. 12 oz. girl, named Kai Madison, was two weeks early. Her mom went into labor during a charity event. As her proud daddy told Access Hollywood, "I think [the baby] wanted out right after the camera assault on the red carpet. She wanted some of the spotlight."

Kai is only a year younger than her Uncle Barron, the senior Trump’s son with third wife Melania Knauss. Ivana Trump, Donald Jr.’s mom and The Donald’s first wife, was so excited upon hearing the news that she immediately hopped a plane to meet her granddaughter. She told the NY Daily News it was a “great mother’s day present!”

Trump Jr. said that the birth was “very cool” and a “life-changing experience.” Mother and baby are reportedly doing fine.

We just wonder what little Kai is going to call her famous grandpa. We vote for The Grandfather. What do you think?
