Sanjaya Malakar has become so much of a pop-culture icon that he’s become a bit of an issue in the 2008 Presidential Race. The other day Senator (and former First Lady) Hillary Clinton was in Manchester, NH making an appearance on a radio call-in show on WOKQ-FM. A caller asked her what we should do about Sanjaya.

Mrs. Clinton democratically replied, “That's the best question I've been asked in a long time. Well, you know, people can vote for whomever they want. That's true in my election, and it's true on American Idol.”

Now if we could only get Sanjaya to run for president and get off of the FOX talent show, or...Hill could have him sing the National Anthem for her if she wins.
