An American Idol fan called “J” embarked on a divine mission over two weeks ago. The MySpace blogger vowed to eat nothing until Sanjaya was eliminated from the competition. “J” decided after sixteen days – and a doctor’s visit – to give up the hunger strike for “medical reasons.”

“J” has also urged those folks who began their non-eating protest along with her, to cease and desist because “It can be very bad for you and end very badly.”

However, “J” has vowed to continue voting for contestants other than Sanjaya and hopes that folks will do the same.
