Shanna Moakler and her rocker hubby, Travis Barker, made headlines for their less-than-amicable split last summer. Travis hooked up with Paris Hilton, who Shanna then fought with. Shanna threw herself a divorce party. Oh yeah – and they shared some angry words via MySpace.

Surprisingly enough, the couple is now happily announcing that they’re back together. When asked why they reunited, Travis said, “I think [it was] love, keeping our family together and believing in ourselves.” They share two children Landon, aged 3, and Alabama, who’s 1 1/2. The separation is off and the family is looking “to move forward with a clean slate.”

As recently as January, reports began circulating that the duo from MTV’s reality hit Meet the Barkers were getting back together. The scoop was then confirmed by Shanna at her 32^nd birthday bash, which Travis threw for her late last month.

Here’s hoping that love is better for the couple the second time around.
