Wilmer Valderrama is best known for his work as Fez on That 70s Show. Well, that and dating hotties like Mandy Moore and Lindsay Lohan. However, the versatile and handsome young Latino actor is proving himself to be a media mogul in training. He’s already done some production work on his MTV series Yo Momma, which returns on June 4th for another hysterical season, and the Disney cartoon Handy Manny.
However, Valderrama wants more, and he got it. Wilmer just signed a deal with Fremantle Media, the folks behind ratings juggernaut American Idol. He’s going to get the opportunity to develop and launch future series. Cecile Frot-Coutaz said that Fremantle is “very pleased to be working with the talented tour de force better known as Wilmer Valderrama.”
Wilmer is also thrilled and looks forward to “share ideas for new and original concepts that promise to be influential for not only youth but for all demographics around the world."
Next up for Valderrama is a turn on the big screen, reprising Erik Estrada’s role as Ponch in ChiPs.
