Constantine Maroulis made ladies swoon on the fourth season of American Idol. With his sexy swagger, lush mane of hair and Greek god-like looks, the Brooklyn native was eliminated in seventh place much to the chagrin of women across the USA.
Since then Constantine’s released a solo CD, performed on Broadway in The Wedding Singer and was slated to take part in a TV series called Brooklyn which ABC eventually passed on. However, you just can’t keep a good man down.
Constantine’s set to play a fictionalized version of himself on The Bold and the Beautiful, CBS’ hit soap. He’ll appear on the sudser for 13 weeks, and his “character” will be a more established version of himself. According to this chat he had with myajc.com, “He will be a more established pop star/producer/label owner. He will discover this girl Phoebe and want to make her a big star. He will get caught up in a love triangle.”
He’s thrilled to have the opportunity especially since the series will allow him to sing some of his new tracks. Constantine’s currently working on a new CD, which he’ll release independently this June with Sony as the distributor.
Brad Bell, a producer for the soap hinted to TV Guide that Maroulis may not be the only Idol to appear on B&B this summer.
