So You Think You Can Dance is America’s premiere dancing competition. Brought to you by the producers of American Idol, the series puts dancers through some vigorous paces. They have to audition solo. If they make it past the judges, which include dancer/choreographer/producer Nigel Lythgoe – who can be just as ascerbic as his ‘pal’, Simon Cowell, ballroom diva Mary Murphy and folks like Shane Sparks, Brian Friedman and Mia Michaels, they get to perform in a group session.
At that point, the individuals go to a Las Vegas week. Then, it’s on to the live competition.
Whew!
Do you think you’ve got what it takes for this type of competition? If so and you are between the ages of 18 and 30, a US citizen, permanent resident or possess a current legal visa allowing you to work in the States, then now’s the time to get ready to audition. The casting call has been placed for Season 3.
