Rumors stating that Ashley Massaro, a World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Smackdown diva, was going to be on the next season of Survivor, which has not yet begun filming, are true. According to Prowrestling.com, “CBS contacted WWE and asked them to send them someone that would make a good television character.”

Seeing as the WWE is running short on male talent, it’s no surprise that Vince McMahon and company decided to send Ashley. WWE superstar Paul London confirmed the rumor that Massaro will indeed be heading to China later this summer. 

The diva, whose Playboy sales were reportedly disappointing, has been recently suspended by the wrestling organization. Sources say this occurred because she won’t be appearing on WWE TV again ‘til the end of the year...with the implied reason being that she'll be on Survivor, of course.
