The Dust Does It Again (Credit: VH-1)
Last week, Dustin, while at a porn convention, mentioned that he’d love to give fellow Fit Clubber, Kimberley Locke, a dildo based on his own member. He’s a class act, that one. Kim was obviously upset by this comment and walked off the stage. The whole cast followed her by the end of things. Poor Ross the Intern tried his best to support Dustin because, as Team Captain of the ‘Athletes’ he feels obligated to never give up on him. Besides, he’s a nice guy and a bit of a peacemaker.
This week, Dustin didn’t show up at Fit Camp for a special therapy session with Stacy and the rest of the cast. The others didn’t seem too upset. I’m not sure why they would or should. Frankly, I don’t care.
I don’t want to listen to the cast continue to demonize Dustin. I don’t think he’s evil. I also don’t think he’s there to lose weight. I agree with Da Brat—never thought I’d write a sentence like that in my life—that Dustin says things for dramatic effect and to maximize his camera time. However, why is VH-1 keeping his negative, lazy @$$ on the show?
They allowed Daniel Baldwin and Jeff Conaway to leave to take care of business in the past. It’s not like there isn’t a precedent for this. I’ve heard that it’s too late in the season. Oh puh-lease! Are you telling me that there isn’t another chunky Z-lister out there who’d relish the chance like Gunnar Nelson did two seasons before?
C’mon now.
I really am disappointed that VH-1 would treat the celebs on the show who take their fitness seriously and are really trying to lose weight in addition to helping their careers, ‘cuz, c’mon who isn’t trying to do that at least a little bit, so poorly. Is VH-1 trying to “flavor” up all their shows?
If so, I think I’m going to have to start flipping the channel…unless someone directly affiliated with Flavor of Love is on the television. The network is becoming a one-note and injecting “dramatical” situations into series that don’t require ‘em. It’s so annoying.
Seriously, VH-1. If you keep this up, you might as well start playing videos again. Ugh!
Kick Dustin off and let those who want to lose weight do so in peace. They don’t need the extra crap to contend with. Put Dustin on the next installment of Surreal Life where he belongs, or…better yet…give him his own show á la Shooting Sizemore or Breaking Bonaduce. He belongs somewhere where he doesn’t need to play nice.
What do you make of this? Do you think VH-1 is out of line with Dustin? Are they being unfair to the other Fit Clubbers?
