Mission Man Band said farewell to VH-1 on Sunday with a two-part season (or series, we’re not sure which yet. VH-1 has yet to make an announcement) finale. The guys worked on their third – and best – song so far, “Story of My Life”. They had a killer performance, despite hitting a minor snag at the beginning, performance at the Miami club Mansion. They make their peace with Miss Kate and realize that she is working for and with them.
Bryan has realized he’s got a problem with drinking (after the series, he went into rehab and we congratulate him for taking that courageous step). He also lost thirteen pounds. Rich, who had been handling himself like a trouper throughout the series with his positive outlook and willingness to do whatever was asked of him, was beginning to feel tired and got concerned that his leukemia was making a re-appearance. Fortunately, Rich underwent some routine tests and passed with flying colors. He’s still cancer-free.
All the guys realized that they found something special and were ready to take it to the next level. Miss Kate set up meetings with music companies in New York. They got some positive feedback and constructive criticism. The guys learned that perhaps they could build a new career together. They didn’t get a record deal on the show, which the fans, like us, would’ve had liked to see, but the ending of the season was happy nonetheless.
Kudos to the Man Band and here’s hoping we’ll see more of you on VH-1 soon!
