Since learning that she won’t have to spend the full forty-five days in jail that she was originally sentenced, Paris Hilton, via her lawyers, has decided to drop her appeal. According to the LA County Sheriff’s Department, Paris will only serve 23 days in jail “under state guidelines that give inmates one day's credit against their term for each day they serve, so long as they maintain good behavior.”

So as long as she remains a good girl in jail—which should be no problem for Paris, right—she’ll be in the clink for less than a full month.

Paris, who’s not one to miss out on a business opportunity, has decided to make the most of her time in prison by keeping a diary.  A source tells The Sun that “there will be details of clashes with prisoners and disgusting meals.”
