Back in November, CBS announced that it gave Mark Burnett Productions the go-ahead to film a pirate-themed reality show to be aired on both land and sea. The series, which is titled Pirate Master, is currently filming in the Caribbean. Cameron Daddo, an Australian actor who’s appeared on American series such as CSI and Boston Legal, is the host of the show.
According to the Sydney Morning Herald, 16 “pirates” must decipher a treasure map which leads them to a mysterious island. They face challenges along the way and are forced to work together to discover the booty. Every week, someone walks the plank. At the end, the winner collects a one million dollar prize.
Pirate Master is due to premiere this summer on CBS.
