Top Chef is undergoing some changes. Don’t worry. Padma Lakshmi, the beauteous hostess with the mostest, is not going anywhere. Also returning are judges Tom Colicchio and Gail Simmons. Joining them is Ted Allen, the food & wine expert from the recently-cancelled Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. Guest judges will be some of the biggest names the culinary world has to offer.

The series is set to return to its Wednesday night slot after Shear Genius finishes airing, although a firm premiere date has not been announced as of yet. The contestants will be competing in a new city the third time around. Yup! They’re heading to Miami.

Bravo’s formal announcement promises that this installment will feature the most “seasoned” contestants yet.
