An Unlikely Alliance (Credit: CBS)
Zach has flown under the radar for most of the game. We never expected him to get this far after his alliance (the Mrs. Robinson alliance with Nick, Mike and Kail) was called out early on. He was a marked man. He also didn’t seem to be too popular with the other hamsters. Most people ignored Zach as the weeks went on including the American people and the producers of Big Brother.
However, he’s been lying in wait and made deals with the devil, in this case Evel Dick Donato, to further himself in the game. Just two weeks ago, we watched him tell Jessica to do away with the father/daughter duo. If she had only listened to his advice perhaps Jes and Eric would be fighting it out in the house with Zach and Jameka right now instead of the Donatos.
Zach then turned on the juice. He’s won two POVs and two HOHs since that time. He went from zero to hero in nothing flat. He’s proved that he’s a competitor. He’s a true class act in our opinion. He’s never said anything about someone that he wouldn’t say to their face, and frankly, we can’t really understand why he wasn’t more popular in the house.
Zach wasn’t on our early pick list as the BB8 winner, but…if he can just hold on this week and take out one of the Donatos, he’s our great hope to take this away from the gruesome twosome of Dick and Dani. The fact that they sat and laughed in his face as he put them up – and threatened him and made him feel like crap was enough to make us sick. They’ve got to go.
He had the ‘stones’ as he said to put the father and daughter up. So what if he’s made an enemy out of them? So what if he lied to Dick and Dani? They’ve been lying to everyone since the get-go and probably lying to themselves about more than a few things to boot. He has the right strategy. If this works, he assures himself of a final two berth. If it doesn’t, he’s out in fourth and able to hit the jury house a wee bit early. We all know that Dick and Dani would never take anyone but each other to the final two, and that’s one reason why this season has sucked so badly. Dick and Dani were a built-in alliance.
And, if Zach goes to the final two with anyone but Jameka, he has a great shot at winning the whole enchilada. Now that would be a sweet way to end a horrific summer in the Big Brother House, wouldn’t it?
