Evel is pissed off again. This time he is upset that Jen is still in the house. Of course, we think he’s even more upset that Kail is still in the house. But, Evel wouldn’t be Evel without something to complain about.
Dustin is reveling in his stint as HOH. He is trying hard to be all things to all people. He even promises Kail that he’ll put her up as a pawn, but she can’t tell anyone. His plan, or so he told her, was to have her and Jen go up on the block. Then, he wanted someone else to win the PoV and take Jen off the block. At that point, Zach would go up. He assured Kail that Zach is his target.
Dustin, of course, tells the camera that as long as Jen, Kail, Zach or Nick goes home, he’s done his job. He’ll be happy with any of them gone.
Jen is upset that she’s on the block. For some reason, she thinks that she masterminded Joe’s departure from the house. Since Joe was Dustin’s nemesis, he owes her his loyalty or something.
Yeah, right!
They pick the folks for the PoV competition. Kail, Jen and Dustin choose Jessica, Jameka and Daniele. Since they have a few hours between the picks and the start of the competition, Jen chats up Jameka. She asks Jameka if she’ll play for her in the PoV or just let her sink or swim on her own. Jameka’s like, if I’m playing for you, I’ll really play for you. She gives Jen her word that she’ll take her off the block if she wins.
Dick, of course, thinks this is stupid. Jameka tries to explain that her faith requires that she live her life with integrity. Although we don’t fully gather all her arguments, we totally applaud her decision to stand by her word and live her life in the Big Brother House and out of it with integrity (or as Carlos Castaneda refers to it ‘impeccability’ – the proper use of energy).
Jameka tells Dick in no uncertain terms that she’ll live her life her way and he can live his in his way. You go, girl!
During the PoV competition, the hamsters saw a different side of Dustin and they didn’t like it one bit. Instead of playing for the team, he played for himself, using his points to take prizes such as a trip to Barbados and $5,000 in cash.
Amber couldn’t stop crying at Dustin’s selfishness. Puh-lease, get over it, girl! This is a game. As Dustin said, you’re not here to make friends. You are here to win moolah. Dustin had every right to look out for himself. Of course, that might be his undoing in this game, but…that’s his prerogative.
Everyone was all like, Jameka didn’t take the cash. She could use it, but she didn’t. That’s Jameka’s journey and she did what she felt was right. Good for her. Of course, when Jen seemingly threw the last question to keep anyone else from winning the competition – Jameka already had enough points – others were so upset at the Jensa member. They said she was a selfish human being and yadda yadda yadda.
Whatever!
Jameka felt used by Jen, and we believe that she was. Others thought she was a fool for agreeing to take Jen’s name off the block, but she did it. She stayed true to word. As she told Amber, “God is a gangsta.” He’ll accept nothing less than your whole heart, soul and life. She has to do what she knows is right because God is bigger than the Big Brother House and this game they’re all playing.
You’ve gotta admit that the girl makes sense. Although we respect Jameka as a person and think Dustin is a doo-doo-head too, we aren’t sure either of them are playing their best game to win Big Brother 8. (Personally, we just want Eric to win BB8 if only because he got Dick to say his stupid catch phrase several times.)
However, when Dustin nominated Nick for eviction, much to Daniele’s chagrin, we were glad of it. He’s been double-dealing since the get-go and he needs to go. Do you think Kail will be the goat throughout the rest of the season? We think the idea has some merit.
And, who among you wants to see Dick on the block next week? We know we do!
