Jen-iuses don't cry (Credit: CBS)
Tuesday night’s Big Brother taught us one thing – that Jen is evil. Sure, I didn’t like her on principle. She’s a braggart and a bit rude, but…man, these housemates seem to be united in their mutual dislike of her.
However, Jen is still not on the chopping block.
I guess it makes sense to keep the evil folks in the house if not for ratings then to be your ‘goat’ in the final two. (For those of you unfamiliar with the term, a ‘goat’ is the person you are guaranteed to win against, or you think you can win against because he or she is unpopular, smelly or whatever. This strategy is often employed in Big Brother, Survivor and potentially American Idol.)
Now, Amber and Carol were both lobbying to get taken off the chopping block. Nick was flirting with all the girls especially Daniele. Jen, who wears shirts like Jenth Degree, and Jenius also flirts shamelessly with Nick. Unfortunately, she’s a bit of the jealous type. (Read: psycho) She’s upset that Nick obviously likes Daniele better. When Joe mentions that Nick and Daniele were under the sheets together and kissing, Jen gets all mad. She then tells Joe that it’s really no biggie because she and Nick like ‘made out before.’
Joe immediately goes to Nick, broadcasting Jen’s lie. This makes Nick very angry and he calls Jen out for her shamelessness. Jen tells the housemates that she didn’t lie, but takes Nick aside and admits she was wrong and doesn’t want him to be mad at her. He says it’s cool, but he’s still seething.
Later on, during the veto ceremony, neither Amber nor Carol wins the hide ‘n seek challenge. Daniele is holding the POV and isn’t sure what to do with it. Amber tries to convince her to put Jen up on the block. Amber even asks Kail if someone were to ‘veto one of the noms’ would Kail consider putting Jen up. Kail is like…I’m open to it. Really, she’s not and would be ‘pissed’ if Dani used the POV against her.
In the end, Dani decides that now is not the time to shake things up in the house. It’s too soon. She opts to keep Jen in and the nominations remain the same.
