Scott Baio is putting himself out there on his series Scott Baio is 45..and Single. He desperately wants to figure out why he hasn’t been able to commit to a woman yet. Deep down, the former child star, wants to be married and have children, but he’s scared that marriage is ‘final, like death.’

This week, Doc Ali asks Scott to meet with some matchmakers. They will help him find the perfect woman. Scott admits that he picks women apart and seeks out their flaws so that he can get rid of them. He doesn’t like the annoying stuff, the drama, the day-to-day ins and outs of relationships, or at least he hasn’t in the past. So, he goes to this Russian mother and daughter. The matchmakers assure him that they’ll find a beautiful woman who also has the ‘emotional qualities’ he’s looking for.

In the meantime, Scott and his buddies play poker. Johnny C. decides to call in a hot, blonde stripper to entice Scott to break his celibacy vow. Scott pays her some money and tells her to leave. He also kicks Johnny C. out of his home, but doesn’t stay made at him for too long. Johnny is with him on the blind date just in case the girl isn’t attractive enough for him.

Apparently the girl met his muster. The two had dinner. During that time, Scott decided to find all the things he didn’t like about her. Finally, he realized it wasn’t the woman’s fault. He is just in love with Renee and wants to be with her instead.

When he gets home, he finds out that Renee has called. Her daughter is coming in from Tennessee. She wants Scott to meet her.
