Sunday and Monday saw the end of the season for Survivor: China, America’s Most Smartest Model and I Love New York 2. Todd Herzog took down the $1,000,000 and title of ‘Ultimate Survivor.’ Todd played a masterful game and was honest with the jury in the final tribal council. He didn’t double talk. He told everyone he lied and it was part of the game. He told people that he liked them personally, but the game was the game and he always played it when given the option. He even shut the loquacious Jean-Robert up with his response at one point, causing James to laugh.
During the ‘Reunion’ show, James won the $100,000 prize for being voted the best liked survivor of the season. He’s also done a photo shoot for People mag as ‘the sexiest man of the week’ and may return for the next season which is a competition of Super-fans vs. Super-popular former castaways. We hope to see Rupert, Rudy Bosch and Yau-Man in this new batch.
Denise, the ‘lunch lady’ made it to the final four, but couldn’t penetrate the Todd-Amanda-Courtney alliance. She told everyone her life kinda sucks now that she’s back at home, prompting series creator Mark Burnett to put up $50,000 of his own money to help her and her family out. Later on, we learned that Denise may not have presented the facts accurately. On America’s Most Smartest Model, Andre faced VJ in a final showdown that was anti-climactic at best. Andre’s big weapon was Jeff Pickel. He invited Pickel to do his presentation for him. Things went well until Andre interjected some ideas of his own and proved why he is not a spokesmodel. The Russian also couldn’t get over the fact that he felt VJ cheated.
In the end, Ben Stein and Mary Alice Stephenson, who are looking for models for a second season of the series – (Casting information can be found HERE), conceded that Andre was the best model. However VJ was the smartest one. He won the contract with V05 and we think he deserved it.
Besides, what would the bald Andre do with a $100,000 contract for a hair product company? How smart would that have been?
Finally, Tiffany Pollard, aka New York, surprised the hell outta us by choosing Tailor Made over Buddha in the finale of I Love New York 2. We think that she made the right decision. The couple, who broke their contract and have been living together for the past six months, do care for each other. However, things didn’t look good when Tailor Made proposed to the gal and she walked away from him. She also seemed to have more of a physical attraction to Buddha.
However, we realize that she and Buddha could not work out because they both make people mad enough to spit. Tailor Made as a ‘spitter’ is much more complementary to New York than Buddha would’ve been. Are we right?
Regardless, there should be tons of fireworks on the Reunion show scheduled to air on Sunday January 6th. For more info on NY and Tailor Made’s life together now, check out New York’s Celebreality Interview at VH-1.
