Heather Mills was eliminated from Dancing with the Stars this week. The diva with the prosthetic leg, who’s still in the midst of a messy divorce from Sir Paul McCartney, made headlines when she joined the dancing competition. In fact, people took bets that Ms. Mills’ prosthetic would fall off. Mills, who demonstrated a surprisingly down-to-earth sense of humor, was one of ‘em.
Although the cast, judges and TV audience seemed shocked that Heather and her partner, Jonathan Roberts, were let go, Heather “knew from the scores last night. I knew there was no way we could get out of this unless the judges gave us nines last night, and they didn't give us nines.”
She even prepared a speech thanking those who helped her the most throughout the competition. Mills was grateful that her appearance helped “raise a fortune for animal welfare.”
Although Mills is sad she's leaving the series, she never expected to win. In fact, Mills has said that she feels that Olympic medalist, Apolo Ohno should win Dancing with the Stars 4 because, although he has “no dance experience,” he’s “just amazing.”
