Wow - that's Cheezy (Credit: VH-1)
In this episode, we learned that Tailor Made, largely because he fears for his status in the house – he’s upset he was called last, is the drama queen of the house. New York, unfortunately, seems to be feeling him because he’s attractive and loaded. At least, those aren’t shallow reasons, right?
Well, Tailor Made’s target this week is The Entertainer. Tailor Made tells Midget Mac that The Entertainer is always making comments about his size. This ticks Mac the hell off so he confronts The Entertainer. The Entertainer gets really angry, so angry that he gets in Tailor Made’s face and threatens to smack him one. Now, we kinda wished he would, but we’re not violent people. Well, maybe we are.
But…it woulda been hella funny. The skinny Tailor made would’ve gone down like a cheap sack of potatoes.
Buddha, for one, is annoyed with Tailor’s dirty and underhanded tactics. We know we liked this guy for a reason. He and a few of his pals come up with a stand-up for your woman challenge in which the guys are told they dude who stands up the longest will get a breakfast date with NY. One by one the other dudes drop off and go back to bed. In the end, Tailor Made, It and Cheezy stay outside. They’re there ‘til dawn.
New York walks out for her AM cigarette fix and sees It and Tailor Made, standing up and asleep on the rocks. Hehe! She tells the guys they’ve been punk’d. We love it.
Tailor is upset and smacks a light fixture on his way back in the house. Ooohhhh! He’s tough.
Later on, the guys get their actual challenge. In groups of three, they will come up with ideas to help New York build her business empire. Cheezy, It and Tailor Made are tossed together. They decide to bring back the blaxploitation flick. They feel New York would make a perfect heroine for their “Cheezy” story. This is only after the boys nix It’s idea for New York to endorse home AIDs test kits. We thought it was a brilliant product tie-in for her…oh well!
The Entertainer, Man Man and Midget Mac come up with a whack perfume product. Their prototype is a bottle of booze with a cape on it. Mac added flash to the presentation by doing a cartwheel on the table. The dudes didn’t even think of possible fragrance combinations for New York’s signature scent. We’re picturing Cristal, Marlboros, ranch dressing and … we’re stopping now so we don’t throw up.
20 Pack, Wolf and Buddha glued some pink leopard-print crap on a poster board with a picture of NY and her mama. Their vision was a NY-inspired, special edition MP3 player. The idea was poorly conceived and presented. New York pooh-poohed it but not before fantasizing about Buddha. And we quote, “He’s so strong and strapping and fit. And my mind just goes to the dirtiest place ever. And basically, I’m just having sex with Buddha on this table.”
Punk, Pretty and Mr. Wise are the final crew to present. They have a fantastic concept with a clothing line. They envision young, up and coming urban designers as the folks to help put this out there. Unfortunately, they call the line NULUV “Knowing U Look Unbelievably Voluptous”. New York and Her mama don’t even notice that knowing doesn’t begin with an “N”. Instead, the pounce on the word voluptuous saying it means they think she’s fat.
‘Cuz of that – and the fact that Tiffany Pollard is an aspiring actress – she picks Tailor Made, Cheezy and It as the winners. She gives Tailor Made the solo date because she thought he came up with the concept. In fact, he only presented it. Cheezy is pissed and tells Tailor Made who says he should just tell NY how he feels and see what happens.
In the meantime, New York was getting her feet licked by The Entertainer. We won’t go further than that because we’re still sick to our stomachs. The memory is one we don’t want to relive. Tailor Made, once he learned that New York had been alone with The Entertainer, confronts her and says he think the dude is violent and he doesn’t want her to spend any time with him without his supervision. Controlling much?
Anyway, after Cheezy talks with New York, she tells him they can do the solo thing tonight. However, Tailor Made goes behind Cheezy’s back and tells New York something different. She opts to take Tailor Made out because she is more attracted to him anyway.
Cheezy is angry at Tailor Made. However, we think he should also be upset with NY. She made the final decision. Regardless, New York and Tailor Made have a romantic date at a jewelry store. He tells her that he sees them together in the future. New York is flattered that he’s falling in love with her.
Her double date with Cheezy and It shows that New York is just not into Cheezy. He strips down for her for the photo shoot and tries to kiss her, but she rebuffs him. Instead, she’s feeling It who is feeling her up the entire time. Gross!
Tailor Made gets his chain first. Buddha is so upset over this that he isn’t sure how he’s feeling about New York. We’re pretty sure this thing between Tailor Made and the rest of the house ain’t over. Midget Mac gets his chain and hugs Sister Patterson who is so rude. The guy shouldn’t waste his time on that intolerant, mean-spirited piece of jerkiness. She’s horrible.
In the end, Man Man and Cheezy get sent home. They should count their blessings.
