We can’t believe how silly Age of Love is getting. Sure, there were signs, but last night’s episode took camp-iness to a whole new level. Mark and the ladies went camping of all things. Now, we don’t know about y’all, but camping is not our idea of a fun date.

Jayanna, Jen, Mary, Amanda and Megan headed out to the wilderness with the hunky Mr. P. (hey, you try spelling his name week after week. It doesn’t get any easier.)

The crew played truth of dare. Some ugliness happened when some of the ladies laughed at Maria. Maria got really upset and lashed out at her fellow cougar, Jen. Jen stormed off. Mark followed to calm her down. He admitted that he didn’t like the drama Maria was causing. He wanted to reassure Jen that he feels something for her and told her not to worry.

Jen came back and apologized to Maria. They faux-kissed and made up. Later on, Mark took Maria and Megan to the same tree. With Maria, they talked about ‘spiritual stuff.’ With Megan, he held her close and tried not to wince as she talked while drunk and stupid.

Amanda got increasingly disturbed as the day went on and Mark made no time for her. The final straw came when Mark asked Jayanna, Amanda’s enemy, for a special and romantic date at the same tree he already showed the other girls. When Mark returned to his tent, Amanda was waiting for him. Instead of being upset as Jayanna assumed he would be, Mark seemed to be touched and honored that Amanda would go to such lengths to spend time with him.

During the night, Amanda told Mark that Jayanna was playing games back at the house and telling the girls that he does the same thing with each of them. (We wonder where she could ever get that idea from!) Mark decides to eliminate Jayanna without asking for her side of the story first which is a truly bone-head move, but…hey, he’s looking for real love here. He might as well believe Amanda without thoroughly investigating first.
