Bret Michaels seems to be attracted to a certain kind of woman. If his experiences in VH-1’s Rock of Love are any indication, that woman is scary-looking, possibly with fake boobs and a ton of tattoos. She looks like she’s lived a hard life and gone through rehab once or twice…or perhaps needs to go back toot sweet. She should love music, not mind that her boyfriend won’t always be faithful and be completely oversexed.
Perhaps, we’re being a bit judgmental, but that’s what the show seems to be leaning towards thus far. This week, Bret’s babes (and we use the term loosely) are challenged to a motocross race. Each of the girls must race in a team. The winning team gets a date with the Poison front man.
The pink team came from behind to win. Rodeo rode her bike with style, panache and more than a little skill. She led the team to victory. Jes, Magdalena and Brandi M., aka “Wild Thing”, were all thrilled to be spending some quality time with Bret.
Heather and her blue ladies were pissed. Lacey couldn’t get her bike in gear and Dallas almost died in a nasty wipeout. The girl got back on the bike and tried to finish it out, but she couldn’t make her team like her. In fact, Lacey and Dallas took up the majority of the drama this episode. Lacey got in the girl’s face. She wanted Dallas to hit her so Dallas would be tossed out. She almost got her wish but Rodeo stepped in and manhandled the red-headed demon (Lacey).
Rodeo told Bret about Lacey’s foolishness. When Bret confronted Lacey and Dallas, Dallas didn’t get to defend herself much and well, probably didn’t want to. She didn’t seem too into Bret or this whole experience. She did hate Lacey and when Bret chose Lacey over her in the end, Dallas didn’t even thank Bret for the experience or give him a good-bye hug.
Bret called her behavior classless, however, is he really a class act for keeping a dangerous, she-devil in the house who’s trying to provoke others into violence? Is that the kind of influence he wants around himself and his kids?
We would wonder what he was thinking, but we’re pretty sure we know which head makes all of Bret’s decisions.
Here Bret shows his softer side as he talks about his struggles with diabetes:
