This week was not a very exciting week for Reality TV I must say. Well, at least in my opinion. Perhaps, I’m just cranky. It is that time of the month. As if y’all needed to know that, right? Anyway, I felt blah by everything…even Gwen Stefani’s appearance on American Idol. Maybe I need to stop watching so much TV.

Nah!

The Surreal Life Fame Games ended. The ho-hum season ended on a so-so note. Ron Jeremy lied to his ‘good pal’ Vanilla Ice and voted him out. Rob was ticked off that he didn’t make the finale and cut his hand after trashing the Back to Reality set. In the end, Traci Bingham beat out Ron Jeremy after a strange Q&A session with Kathy Griffin. Traci won the $100,000 from GoldenPalacePoker.net and the respect of no one.

The Amazing Race – Joyce & Uchenna got their time penalty for being last in a non-elimination leg. Everyone but Charla & Mirna got into travel trouble in Africa. Teri & Ian and the Guidos were the last ones to make it to the pit stop. In the end, Teri & Ian headed home, but not before Charla & Mirna proved that the impossible can happen. They won two in a row. We’ll forgive them for not knowing what a catamaran was…since they had to be as shocked as we were that they won AGAIN!

I Love New York was a recap show. They promised some new footage, but it was just silly. More of Sister Patterson making the guys paranoid. More of New York sucking face with her wannabe lovers. More of Chance and Mr. Boston fighting. It was less intriguing than what they’ve shown so far. Hell-o…this is why the crap was edited out in the first place, am I right?

The Pussycat Dolls are continuing their Search for the Next Doll. The competition is heating up as Asia and Sisely get down and dirty with each other. Sisely told Asia she danced like a drag queen so it was on, y’all. In the end, Sisely’s butt was sent home ‘cuz she ain’t Doll enough for this group.

Work Out 2– Jackie’s back (been back for a week and I didn’t realize. Man, oh man!) She and Mimi have finally broken up. They were toxic for each other as Jackie says. However, Jackie seems to be cozying up to Rebecca, who reality TV junkies will remember from her stint on the Amazing Race with ex-beau Adam. Jackie is also helping the ubiquitous Kathy Griffin get back in shape and beginning a new experiment called Sky Lab which will help folks look and feel their best.

On America’s Next Top Model, Renee upsets Whitney and Diana by saying that the plus sized girls aren’t real models. This affects Diana’s performance at the cross-dressing photo shoot. Yup! The girls model with guys but the guys dress as girls and the girls dress as guys. Got that? Natasha struggles with the mean girls who don’t like her, but rocks her photo shoot and gets first place for the week. In the end, Diana goes home and Whitney bawls for her plus-sized sistah.

Top Design whittled the competition down to three. Goil gets sent home after he fails to deliver the passion on his fire-inspired room. Matt had the ‘top design’ with a hotel room inspired by water. Carisa complained (naturally) and Andrea had a ho-hum week.

Survivor: Fiji – Yau-Man and Earl solidified their budding friendship by finding the immunity idol. Rocky ticked everyone on Ravu off – AGAIN. Lisi bonded with the boys after the team won their first challenge, a reward of arcade games, hot dogs and tummy aches. Moto came back and won immunity so Rocky went home. He was shocked ‘cuz he thought Lisi was leaving. However, he vowed his revenge from the jury. Yes, Rocky’s the first member of the jury.

Now that’s an appropriately scary way to end this recap piece, isn’t it?
