We do love crazy ladies vying for a rock star’s attention, don’t we? However, we wonder why a woman like Kristy Joe with her obvious good looks and marriage and child and all the stuff she’s got to deal with would put herself in this position. She says she’s falling for Bret, but still has baggage. Bret doesn’t like baggage but he does like her fun bags. He’s torn because she’s so beautiful yet tortured. The man hates dealing with drama in relationships which makes us wonder why he is looking for a relationship on reality TV. Aren’t they nothing but the drama?
Instead of analyzing Bret, we’ll give you the lowdown on the episode as quickly as we can. This week, Bret had the ladies customize a bike for him. The winning mechanic on the winning team got a solo date with the Poison front man. Peyton leads the pink team. They do well but forget to hook up their gas line. This gives Inna and the black team the opportunity to win. Inna takes off on a bike with Bret. The two enjoy a nice lunch and a bit of kissy-face.
When Bret returns from his date, Aubry is waiting to talk to him. She is upset that he didn’t kiss her good night last night. He walked around her to lock lips with all the gals around her and Aubry wants him to let her go if he ain’t feeling her. Of course, Bret is annoyed by this conversation. The last time he had a lady in his bedroom was the previous evening. It was the luscious Daisy de la Hoya and she was not giving him drama.
The other ladies were pissed that Daisy spent the night with Bret. They called her a slut behind her back of course. Daisy just ignored their dirty looks and enjoyed the afterglow. When Aubry asked her directly if they had sex, Daisy gave nothing away.
After Aubry’s talkie-poo with Bret, she talks to Kristy Joe. Kristy Joe cries and holds a house meeting telling all the ladies who aren’t there for Bret to leave. The girls tell her to talk to Bret if she’s upset. So she does. He lets her know that if she wants to leave, she can but he’d like to see if they could figure out if they could have a relationship first. They hug and he sends her off to bed…alone.
The next day, the rest of the black team has a special date with Bret. They dress up as 50s pin-up girls and Bret takes their pictures. During the after photo-shoot meal, Aubry mentions that this whole set-up, the show, is geared towards hurting people. Bret agrees and disagrees and thinks that some people aren’t here for the right reasons like Kristy Joe. This kills Aubry and, as soon as she gets the chance, tells Kristy Joe that Bret was talking smack about her.
Kristy Joe confronts Bret again and asks him how he feels about her. He doesn’t really answer and, at the elimination, Aubry and Kristy Joe are the last two ladies standing. Kristy Joe begins freaking out and crying so Aubry tells Bret she wants to leave to give Kristy Joe her chance. Bret lets her go and shows the remaining girls that he was planning to send Aubry home all along anyway.
Now that was funny!
