The Real World was one of the first reality series to hit television back in the early 90s.
The series, which airs on MTV, takes a group of "diverse strangers" who audition for the opportunity to live in a house together for several months.
The show moves to a different locale each season, but the formula remains largely the same.
As the intro says, "This is the true story, of seven strangers, picked to live in a house, work together and have their lives taped, to find out what happens, when people stop being polite, and start getting real. The Real World."
