Cassandra Peterson, the original Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, is searching for a surrogate "handmaiden" to help her out with her "numerous personal appearances" and so forth. Who knew being Mistress of the Dark was such hard work?
Anway, The folks at FOX Reality will air the competition, in which viewers choose their favorite and she will be...the next Elvira. Three episodes are planned, the third of which will air on....appropriately enough, Halloween.
